Khan Academy uses 4 steps to help students improve

1. Diagnoses Strengths and Weaknesses

After a diagnostic test, Khan Academy can identify the skills a student should focus on the most.

2. Personalizes a Practice Plan

With benchmarks for skill strength, Khan Academy crafts a unique practice plan with lessons and exercises at the right level based on each student's goal score and schedule.

3. Provides Authentic Lessons and Questions

Students can view instructional videos to refresh their understanding of concepts and do skills practice with immediate feedback.

4. Tracks Progress

Each student's practice plan is divided into stages that start with focused skill practice and lead up to timed full-length practice tests. As their weaknesses turn into strengths, they’ll see their test scores rise towards their goal.
